Though discipleship is a primary function of the church, it remains dormant in most churches.

Have you ever had serious heart problems? No, I don't mean the kind that involves medication, trips to the doctor, and various forms of rehabilitation. I mean the type that affects the way you view the world of lost people. You know, heart problems!

The Great Commission is built on relationships. Both the construction and purpose are found in the context of relationships by utilizing human relationships to direct people toward a relationship with God.

"I had faith that you would save me, but you did not. Why?" And the Lord says, "I sent you a rowboat, a motorboat, and a helicopter."

Speech is a gift of the Lord and is to be used in a way that reflects His character.

Our motivation ought to be to see to it that the world may not discover at the end of their life that they could have spent their life seeing and seeing for eternity.‍

Therefore, I would tell people the gospel of Christ defines our message, it defines our motivation, and it defines our method.

This is a call for us to maintain a positive testimony before unbelievers, not so they are guided towards us, but so they are shepherded towards the Lord.

Whether a goer or a sender, Christians who obediently respond to God’s call enjoy a bountiful spiritual harvest.
